Pupdate on Eve (1/1/15@10:30 pm) Eve here. So I now been off the streets a little over 24 hours, and I cant believe the difference in my life. I slept so soundly last in my crate. I have a cushy blanket on the bottom and a soft, fuzzy one over that. And I was so warm. I didnt shiver and shake like I was on the streets. It even rained and I didnt get wet. When I woke up this morning, Nanny, as she is called, told me I had to go out to do my business. I really didnt want to leave the crate, but the trail of treats was so tasty that I just had to eat one after another and before I knew it, I was outside. It was wet and cold, and I most definitely dont like that anymore. I did what I was supposed to do and came in for a breakfast, one of several meals I have been given. I ge t to walk around and explore the house a bit, but sometimes I get scared and want to hide especially under the bed, but Nanny gets me before I can get completely under it. I am getting lots of rest, and lots of food. This evening, Mindy made some chicken and rice for dinner and it was so tasty. Then when I went out, I got to wear a jacket. (You can see me in the pic all ready to go out in the cold.) How do you think I look in it??? This is my first time wearing clothes and it felt really good going out to do my business. But, I was so anxious to get back in the house. I dont like being outside especially in this weather. Although I havent officially met some of the dogs already living here, some stop by my crate to meet me and when I am out exploring the house I meet them at their crates. I hear them talking about taking me to the vet, whatever that is and having them look at my eye. They also say I need a bigger crate so I can stretch out. They talk about a thing called playing musical crates so I can have a bigger one. I have a feeling I am going to have a lot of new experiences in my life. Well, this is Eve signing off.
