Puppet Master: The Legacy. I have mixed feelings on this and Ill - TopicsExpress

Puppet Master: The Legacy. I have mixed feelings on this and Ill tell you why in just a little bit. Our story begins (and ends) at the infamous Bodega Bay Inn. A rogue agent, Maclain, is searching through Andre Toulons diary to see if she can find the puppets formula. She cant, of course, and even if shed been close, the diary bursts into flames anyway. She then makes her way to the basement and confronts Eric Weiss, who seems to be taking care of the puppets now; the new puppet master. This leads into an interrogation, which culminates in Eric Weiss, who reveals himself to be Peter Hertz (the boy Toulon saved from the Nazis allll the way back in Puppet Master III), telling her everything he knows about the puppets. We bridge a lot of gaps in this flick, which is fantastic, but theres something very wrong here. Theres only thirty minutes of original footage. The other forty-minutes is all taken from old films. This is why I have mixed feelings. Like, on one hand, we have a watchable Puppet Master movie. On the other, its not really a movie at all, when you look at it. For what its worth, it was so much better than Retro and Curse. Thanks go to Austin VanAlst for requesting this film.
