Puppy Update! Its been a big week for our little Shepherd puppy with the injured leg. He received a name...Tommy. Spent a few days in foster care....with an amazing foster mom and on Monday came in to see our medical team to determine the best course of action for his badly injured leg. After xrays and a through exam it was decided that the best course of action for Tommy was to have his leg amputated as the injury was just to severe and would not be able to mend. This is not a decision that was made lightly and Tommys best interests played a large part in this decision. Most would think that just 24 hours after surgery Tommy would be quiet and calm and trying to adjust to having 3 legs, however as you can see in this video nothing is going to slow this boy down! He is a ball full of energy who captures the heart of everyone who meets him! Tommy has gone back to his foster home where he will remain for approx. 2 weeks before coming in and being available for adoption. Watch for updates :) https://youtube/watch?v=9NTowMcVGF4
