Purbottar Vikash Mancha, Assam, working extensively in the field of agriculture, mainly in Hajo area. The main objective of it’s entire effort is to aware the farmers about the modern methods of Agriculture like multiple-cropping in a single year, use of modern machineries, use of high-yielding seeds, wasteland(wetland etc.) management, to increase the production. With this objective, we have already formed several farmer’s club consisting of farmers of the region and distributed with the help of Dept. of Agriculture, Assam, free Onion and Mustard seeds among them. We are also trying to aware and encourage the young generation about the profitability of agriculture as a potential business, and draw them towards it. We have also organised several orientation camps in the villages, to interact the farmers with agricultural specialists.
