Pure NWide @ Charlotte: Finally! After two second place finishes at Vegas and Richmond, Brian Scott wins at Charlotte, breaking a 19 race winless skid that dated back to Richmond 2013. Funny as to how it was Regan Smith finishing second to him then like it is now. (BTW, Brian Scott is yours trulys favorite NNS driver :) Amongst other drivers, some notable standouts was that of Chris Buescher. He and the 60 team are really beginning to gel together into a solid team; if he hadnt have DNQed for Daytona, he could be sitting pretty pointswise...... Its not a question of if Chris Buescher will get his first NNS win, its a matter of when. And also for drivers like James Buescher and Brendan Gaughan, who have had terrible seasons so far in 2014. Pointswise, Chase Elliott and Elliott Sadler came into Charlotte tied for the points. They will leave 20 points apart, with Chase having slid back to third after a terrible race at Charlotte. Regan Smith leads Elliott Sadler by a single point going into Dover. Top 10: 1. Brian Scott 2. Regan Smith 3. Trevor Bayne 4. Chris Buescher 5. Ty Dillon 6. James Buescher 7. Elliott Sadler 8. Dylan Kwasniewski, 1 lap down 9. Ryan Reed, 1 lap down 10. Brendan Gaughan, 2 laps down Top 10 in points: 1. Regan Smith, 453 points 2. Elliott Sadler, 452 points 3. Chase Elliott, 433 points 4. Ty Dillon, 427 points 5. Trevor Bayne, 425 points 6. Brian Scott, 410 points 7. Brendan Gaughan, 367 points 8. James Buescher, 363 points 9. Dylan Kwasniewski, 346 points 10. Ryan Reed, 345 points Onward to Dover!
