The classic has received the same treatment many other films got in the 2008 comedy Be Kind Rewind by French director Michel Gondry (Mood Indigo, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), namely the process of sweding – a term that refers to the act of making an extremely low budget remake of a proper film.
