Put Your Music On!!! A young lady at church this morning told - TopicsExpress

Put Your Music On!!! A young lady at church this morning told me how she had shared with someone else that she wished that she had my energy. In that moment, I realized that I could not explain the grace of God enough! You see, it was just this morning that I struggled to get out of bed. I felt so heavy “all of a sudden” and the Spirit of God was so gentle in His encouragement and instruction to me. I wasn’t sleepy; I just felt tired (exhausted or heavy might be a better description). I thought of so many things I needed to do and not just for today. This is a really important season and I felt the weight of it. Not that it’s my weight to bear, but I tire of getting in God’s way. I want to let Him flow freely and all too often, I get in the way. But, His sweet instruction to me was simply, “Put your music on!” I even heard the song that I was to play in my Spirit. It was a great song by anointed vessel of God Larue Howard titled, “Great I AM!!!” So, I played it and listened and began to move a little bit. It stopped; I played it again… and again… and again! I played it while I was in the shower and getting dressed over and over again for probably more than an hour until I finally headed out the door to church. And now, the young lady at church was saying that she wanted my energy. I tried to explain, but couldn’t do it justice in such a short amount of time. I told her that I had to put on my praise music and she said that she did that too and she doesn’t have the energy that I have. I think I realize now what I didn’t recognize at the time when I was speaking to her. It’s not just listening to Christian music that gives you a breakthrough. It’s the song you hear when you need it most that causes breakthrough. So, you need to keep those nearby. I was heavy and couldn’t get moving because I was all in my head with fear about all the things I needed to get done and couldn’t do. I was overwhelmed and paralyzed and God said, “Put your music on!” and played the song in my spirit that I was to play. The song redirected my thoughts off of me and my situation and shortcomings and put them back on the Great I AM who was always the One who was going to take care of all those situations I was worrying about. Then when I got to church they were playing more songs to take my mind off of me and put it where it belonged. So no wonder I was full of energy. Then there was an altar call with my name on it today. It was a call that meant something completely different for others than for me. While I was there, the Lord ministered to me that I had been dealing with fear and fatigue and today was the day to break it off! But, it all started with a gentle instruction that got me out of bed!!! So, this one will have to go on the list as a candidate for my NSD song (they play your song when you debut as a National on the Seminar stage) because I get the feeling that it’s going to get me through more than one breakthrough!!! Put your music on- just another lesson on my journey to NSD!!! Oh, btw! Heres the song. I dont think Pastor Larue will mind my sharing it!!! https://youtube/watch?v=9WVVGby7zZs#t=20
