Put some oversized skates on your yatch or sled and you have... Ice Yatching. No petroleum required... This could be one way to get around in our north country, at least in some locations. You should wear a full helmet and probably some kind of hockey pads, etc.: these units can hit pretty high speeds and not all the ice out there is glass-smooth.
