Put things in a coconut shell Before you say anything, please investigate and know the context of Thailand...okay thats enough. I particularly like this sentence, not because of its wisdom (is there any?) but because it clearly articulates the mental problem of a group of people who are still not capable of discussion. For these people, the only aim of discussion is to shut up the mouths of those who are against them. As a foreigner, the kinds of reaction I got from them are always the same: You dont know about Thailand enough. You havent stayed in Thailand long enough. You dont understand this country. Bla, bla, bla. When I pointed out something wrong about them, these lots never say its wrong, but trying very hard to find similar examples done by the opposite side, in many cases in very far fetched ways. After all, this speech of the famous doctor has nothing to do with intelligence, but a clear manifesto of serious lack of decency in the minds of some people. They firmly believe that only they can be correct, and for this exact reason have superior rights to shut up anybodys mouth when they find the person irritating. Now their antidemocratic deeds are sharply criticized internationally, but hardly any one from the Democrats has ever reprimanded his or her own people. This international salvo of criticism is also dealt with the spirit of the speech cited above. All international press, all foreign governments and all international NGOs have to understand the context of Thailand. Thats enough! Id like to say to the well-known doctor (for several reasons) that, doctor, its not enough. Its only enough for your people, who is not even a majority of your country.
