Put this in the microwave for 3 minutes, turn it over and microwave it 3 more minutes. It comes out perfect and none of the valuable vitamins and minerals are lost in boiling water. Its true too, I have always done the cutting after the cooking but every silk comes out and you have beautiful, clean, perfectly cooked corn in 6 minutes that will stay hot too because the shuck retains the heat from cooking. Youll never cook fresh corn another way. Beware though, the corn cob is HOT when it comes out.
