Putin doesnt feel empowered because Obama is weak. He feels empowered because Ukraine is unstable. It sickens me that certain news outlets and individuals are using this very real crisis to try to score cheap political points. If it were true that Obama is weak and his weakness somehow caused Putins aggression (a tenuous assertion, at best), then shouldnt they want to help Obama be strong? Rather than tearing him down publicly while hes basically trying to save ... you know... the world? No. Because they dont give a rats ass about the people who will die in the Ukraine when Putin comes marching in and they dont give a damn about a de-stabilized Europe. They only care about their OWN NEXT ELECTION CYCLE. Right-left team sports and mad-doggedness is killing us. Is there not one thing we can come together about as a nation? I for one would like to see the American Presidents diplomatic efforts succeed. Anyone who is rooting for his failure is unbelievably short-sighted. If America is no longer great, its because of this brand of nimroddery, and not one thing else. Donna White
