Putin should be seen as a sovereignist, whose goal is to serve the peoples interests rather than multinational corporations, improving the living standard, while defending the national sovereignty of his country against mischievous oligarchs whose loyalties lie outside of Russia and who want to steal the natural resources. The West intends to keep native Russian and Chinese products out of the region and flood it with its own products instead and maybe would even go so far to start a war over that, beginning with a false flag attack on an Ukrainian nuclear power plant that will be blamed on Russia or something like that (then the hawks within NATO will say: If there already is a radioactive fallout, why not go to full-scale nuclear war?).
