Putting the word out there that fences and physical division materials have no place at a true and proper family vibe festival/gathering. Barriers subtly (or not so much) separate the performer and crowd creating a sense of hierarchy/superiority which IMO really alters the mood and intentions of an event. True family vibe events should have no VIP & little issue with backstage entry (besides somebody monitoring for obvious reasons). Security should be there as a liaison to unwanted event entry (law, destructive neighbors, etc) and for handling ill acting spunions & schemesters rather than for bag checking and unwarranted power trips.
