Q: Hi Sharonda, I really need ur advice, its like I really love my bf, but he is a total mamas boy, whenever she calls him he drops everything and run, he will lie to me like he will help me out with my bills but when payday come he tells me he dont have it, but the crazy thing about this is, his mama can call him the same day and ask for money and he will give it to her, no im not jealous and I know if it wasnt for his mama he wouldnt be here, I mean, I dont mind him doing for his mama, but at some point in time, like when we get married or sumthing, shouldnt he kinda stop being such a mamas boy and be there for me, plzz help me!!! A: The key words are When we get married.... At that point he is obligated to cling to you and put your needs first....... But let me say this, when a person shows you who they are believe them. This will not change once yall get married, he still will jump when she calls. There is a such thing as unhealthy patent/child relationships. Sometimes these two people are so into each other there really isnt room in their life for anyone else.
