Jews make up approximately 75% of the Jewish state, and this demographic problem is the most pressing concern for the Zionist project, because it is going to be impossible for that percentage to be sustained. Tens of thousands of Israelis abandon the country seeking better living and financial conditions, employment and professional opportunities abroad. Clearly unwilling to sacrifice their material well-being for the Zionist cause. With regard to the Jewish Lobby, pro-Israel lobbies spent a total of about $3 million last year, which is only a little more than what was spent by the poultry lobby, but less than half what was spent by the dairy lobby. What the Jewish lobby spends to pressure the government is approximately 0.025% of what is spent by the defense industry, and the defense industry is the primary beneficiary of US aid to Israel.
