Q: My dad died recently. Dad and Mom had four children together - TopicsExpress

Q: My dad died recently. Dad and Mom had four children together before Mom passed away ten years ago. About a year ago, Dad remarried and was survived by his current wife, who is our step-mother. They had no children together. If Dad didn’t leave a will, doesn’t all of his estate go to me and my three siblings? A: Not necessarily. Absent a valid prenuptial agreement, Arizona law will dictate the plan for distributing the estate of a decedent who died without a will. In that event, his estate will be divided according to the laws of intestate succession. If you need help with this situation, contact The Golden Rule Law Group - Decker & Woods, P.C. for advice.
