Q:Observed mature liver flukes in a recently slaughtered sheep. Want to treat our flock. Have read that only triclabendazole is effective against all stages. Why is it not avaialable in US? Is albendazole the only choice for sheep in US? We have livestock guardian dogs living with the flock. Are they likely to have flukes also? Would you treat dogs with praziquantel?
