That said, clots are not unusual during a period as they occur usually on the heaviest days of the period. If however the period and clots are unusually heavy causing an alarming increase in number of pads used as compared with before or you feel dizzy and weak when the clots drop, it is adviseable you visit a gynaecologist for proper assessment and management.
