Nonetheless, the good thing about this is that the increased weight gain could definitely be due to increased skeletal muscle, which does weigh more than fat. You very well maybe burning fat, dropping inches, yet gaining weight. Therefore, as long as the few pounds you are gaining are a result of increased muscle tone and not increased body fat, you are doing just fine. Be encouraged, not discouraged! Just stay consistent.
