Q: Tommy and Ralph both own clothing stores selling the same items. Tommy sells the same pair of shoes as Ralph, and they both sell for $100. Tommy decides to lower the price by twenty-five percent and Ralph counters by lowering the price thirty percent. When Tommy finds out that Ralph lowered the price on his shoes, Tommy lowers the price of his by another fifteen percent. Ralph in turn lowers the price of his by ten percent.
