Q: What is the greatest need of every man? A: The Love of Self. The greatest need of all living thing is to experience and feel the present moment (within the framework of the body). We feel (and experience) because we inquire. We inquire because of unsatisfactoriness (not being perfectly content). We experience, feel, inquire, and love others because of the love of self. Love is the impetus for life, and life is the manifestation of love. Life and all volitional formations arise out of the love of self.
