Q: You commented one time that Christ took the sin of the world - TopicsExpress

Q: You commented one time that Christ took the sin of the world onto His shoulders. I just wanted you to elaborate on that. What does that mean? A: The totality of mans..well, as you evolve, some people asked me about the energy..you go through very painful periods, very painful agonies, because of the collective, the collective. Therefore, not your personal actions or personal karma, but youre having to clear things that you share with all of humanity in the collective. You can pick up illnesses you dont even believe in, because you picked them up from the collective. So, as you become more and more advanced, you go through very painful periods in which what youre clearing from yourself is coming from the collective. There was a time, I think thats the time I suddenly became an at heist..yes. It was the time when I became an atheist. I was walking through the woods, and I was a devoted, devotional religionist, you know. And I was walking through the woods, and, all the sudden, out of nowhere, came the stunning realization of the totality of all the suffering of all mankind, I cant describe it to you. It was like a Knowingness, like a revelation. It was just absolutely stunning, shocking. Stunning and shocking. It so shocked me that I became an atheist. Because, I thought, I cant believe in a God that would allow that or create that. As a naive religionist, I thought God created all things. I didnt know about the ego (laughs). I didnt realize what I was witnessing was the consequences of mans ego. Alright. So, the totality of that suffering is due to the profound ignorance. The Christ is holding that in mind for all of us and surrenders His existence as the propitiation for the downside of mankind, and saying to God, They know not what they do and I die for their sins. Now, His dedication of that act, had an effect, therefore, on the karma of mankind, because His consciousness is also part of the collective. So, the avatar who dies for all, dies for all of us, has the capacity for dying for all of us because Hes able to comprehend the consciousness of all. The totality of the suffering of mankind, when it reveals itself to you, is beyond all description. And so, would you be willing to die to relieve the suffering of all mankind, and Christ said, Yes. Sacrificed on our behalf...Salvation. Thats my understanding of it. Dr. David R. Hawkins, Satsang March 15th, 2006
