QA Manager Newark c£35k Our client is an on line retailer for innovative home and leisure products and they are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our busy team. This is the ideal role for an efficient professional from a manufacturing background, a drive to succeed and an organised and methodological approach to work. Duties include: • Assuring consistent quality of production and service by developing systematic processes. • Implement and train personnel in, production, quality and service standards. • Completing audits and identifying improvements • Document company systems and procedures. • Manage trading standards, FSC compliance and new product safety processes. • Drive world class, ‘Gold Standard’ operating procedures, creating a business environment of never ending improvement. In order to be considered for this role candidates need to meet the following criteria: • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly with wood. • Experience with product safety, consumer legislation and ISO standards. • Strong administration and IT skills – particularly MS Office. • Familiar with change management and a quality control environment If you are driven and proactive and interested in a fast paced and rapidly changing work challenge then this may be the job for you.
