QA/QC Engineer infrastructure and roads projects, Qatar Alshihab consulting HR Tunis, (Tunisia) Description: Position Title QA/QC Engineer, Qatar Job Category Engineering - Civil Business Line Transportation Office Region Middle East Office Location QAT - Qatar Job Summary we are recruiting a QA/QC Engineer. You will be responsible for providing the Quality Assurance & Quality Control on assigned projects during the Construction Supervision on the project. This role will ensure conformance to high level of quality, performance, and/or code requirements by performing audit duties on the contractor and third parties, continuous communication with the contractor to achieve the contract requirements, and management and implementation of the project Quality Management System. Duties & Responsibilities • Preparing project site related reports and presentations as required and producing performance measurement tools to monitor the Contractor’s and project performance • Ensuring that the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and Method Statements are implemented by the Contractor on site • Initiating and supervising independent third party testing at project site ensuring compliance with project specifications • Providing technical assistance and advising The Project Team on inspection levels, materials testing Certification and Handover Documentation • Conducting Quality or technical compliance audits for Contractor, Sub Contractor or Vendors • Reviewing the contract documents for each Construction stage/phase in respect of QA/QC requirements and procedures • Reviewing QA/QC organization; make sure that, key personnel CV’s are submitted by the Contractor’s and reviewed by relevant personnel • Reviewing QA/QC Procedures as submitted by the Contractor’s and ensuring implementation is in compliance with AGREEMENT requirements • Reviewing Inspection, Test, Plans as submitted by the Contractor’s and ensuring compliance with AGREEMENT requirements • Attending activities on site and ensure their compliance with QA/QC procedure in respect of the format signed off by the Contractor’s QA/QC Manager • Checking all materials and equipment as delivered on site and ensure its compliance with approved materials and specification • Closely monitoring site activities, fully coordinating with PMC discipline engineers, issuing NCR’s in case of non-compliance and reporting to Senior Resident Engineer in case of shortage of skilled labourers and/or site supervision staff • Participating in reviewing the Close-Out Report as submitted by the Contractors • Coordinating with the Contractor’s QA/QC representative • Ensuring that the Contractor submits a Project-Specific Quality Plan and any other contractual requirement • Maintaining and measuring The Contractor’s compliance with AGREEMENT’s ANNEXURES as well as the Technical Specification; and, Conducting Quality Meetings with the Contractor on regular time intervals Minimum Requirements Minimum 12 years experience since obtaining minimum Educational Qualification Minimum 7 years experience in similar project specific role of which are in a supervisory and Construction management role in infrastructure and roads projects Familiar with requirements of Project Works Authority in Qatar Experience in auditing essential Preferred Qualifications Experience within the Middle East region preferred but not essential Send CV in English to Project@tunisianhr
