This is a fly-in fly-out opportunity with the accomodations and food allowance provided for the right candidate. Reporting directly to the Project Director and working in conjunction with the Quality Manager Continuous Improvement Coordinator, the QA/QC Welding Inspector position is responsible for overseeing the Quality Programs. QA/QC Welding Inspector job responsibilities include: � Implement and maintain quality program for successful project delivery � Ensure successful planning of project QC functions & application of quality program � Liaison with jurisdictional authorities, third party inspectors & outside agencies/organizations � Maintaining a library of up-to-date codes, and standards in contract documents � Maintain the QA/QC guidelines and manual � Ensure quality program is communicated and administered efficiently and effectively � Providing technical assistance to company personnel in the application of quality program � Providing technical assistance client specification requirements � Progressing corrective action required from audit findings to a satisfactory conclusion � Reduce both project and business risk through development & enforcement of quality programs � Prepare and present training to project delivery personnel on QA/QC program � Familiar with using and following Inspection Test Plans (ITP�s) developed for each project � Coordinate the audit/inspection program, collect results and identify trends Qualifications � Three years� experience in a QA/QC Welding Inspector role � Technical College Diploma, CET or C Tech considered an asset � CWB Level I certification, B31.3 Endorsed � Structural inspection experience considered an asset � CSTS or OSSA safety ticket If you are interested in this or other QA/QC Welding Inspector job opportunities available through Roevin Technical People, please click apply or apply online at roevin.ca Candidates residing in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan are preferred.
