QBC THOUGHT OF THE DAY:“The circumstances that come into our lives that are trying, challenging, attempt to discourage us, and would pull our eyes off Jesus are not things that God simply allows. They are things that He sent us. View them for what they really are – gifts of God’s grace to drive us to more fervent prayer, more reliance upon grace, more sharing of burdens with other believers, and more refining into Christ’s image. Without these gifts of grace, we simply would not grow. So when tough circumstances come instead of sighing and complaining, sing and give thanks. It will make all the difference in your thinking, your attitude, and your fellowship with the Lord Jesus” (PHILIPPIANS 1:29-30).
