QBC Thought of the Day: “When it comes to serving God and especially reaching into the world of unbelievers with the Gospel, we don’t give God what is left of our availability after we fill in our weekly planners. No, we first make ourselves available to God and allow Him to fill in our weekly planners. And such submission will force us to make some hard personal choices in regards to the distribution of our time. We simply will have to put self-denial ahead of self-fulfillment for the work of the Gospel. Remember, servants of Christ have surrendered all their rights, not some of them, to their Master, and besides, is there no greater investment than to give ourselves over to the work of the glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus?” (ROMANS 12:1-2).
