QC article last week - just gotta clarify a few misquotes and paraphrased ideas that were taken out of context : - it isnt the cute houses that I said built a sense if community, its the neighbours and their presence and participation in maintaining a connected community. - I had talked about the activity on the streets at night, but not as a negative thing. My feeling is that there are a lot of neighbours out and about in our neighbourhood at night and that this is one of the things that makes a neighbourhood feel safe. - And, my #1 reason for loving the location I live in, which wasnt even mentioned, is that its within walking distance to so many things: downtown, parks, pools, etc. Heritage is an amazing neighbourhood. I didnt realize just how great it was until I lived here though. The people and the neighbours that keep this community vibrant are what make it so brilliant!
