Event Completion: 28 December, at 9:05pm. Partial lane closures, Short delays, allow extra travel time.. Commencing: 28 December 2014, at 6:10pm Concluding:28 December 2014, at 9:05pm Partial lane closures Delays expected. Allow extra travel time. The Brisbane Heat v Melbourne Stars game will be held at the Gabba on the 28th of December 2014 from 6:10pm. Traffic congestion may be experienced on Stanley St, Vulture St, and Ipswich Rd from (one hour before event) on match day. Motorists on the Pacific Motorway may also experience congestion from this time at the northbound Stanley St exit 2 and Stanley St onramp and southbound across the Captain Cook Bridge to the Vulture St exit 2 and Stanley St onramp. Road closures will be in place approximately 45 minutes before the end of the event on Stanley St, Main St and Vulture St. Motorists attending the event should also be aware of the 15 minute parking restriction that applies to the Gabba Traffic Area on match days.
