#QLD #TropicalCyclone #Outlook #Corp ~~Tropical Cyclone Three Day Outlook for the Coral Sea~~ Issued at 2:30 pm EST on Friday 31 January 2014 for the period until midnight EST Monday 3 February 2014. Existing Cyclones in the Eastern Region: Nil. Potential Cyclones: At 1:00pm EST, Ex-Tropical Cyclone Dylan was located about 235km inland from the coast and continuing to move further inland. The monsoon trough is expected to remain active during the outlook period. A low is expected to form within the monsoon trough over the Coral Sea during next week, however there is still significant uncertainty with its location and future development. Likelihood of a tropical cyclone in the Eastern Region on: Saturday Very Low Sunday Very Low Monday Low NOTES: The likelihood is an estimate of the chance of each system being a tropical cyclone in the Region for each day. Very Low: less than 5% Moderate: 20 to 50% Low: 5% to 20% High: over 50% The area of coverage for this outlook is the Coral Sea and northern Tasman Sea west of 160E.
