QLDC councillors today had a workshop to work through the issues around the pool and the sport facilities. The rough summary of it is that the council are committed to 3 parks, that the proposal for stage 1 will include the pool and 2 indoor courts (3 if it can be afforded), no further investigations of options at Plantation Road or at Kellys Flat. Whether you agree with the decisions on location we are now committed to that option and hopefully get people pulling towards the same cause to get the best possible facilities for Wanaka at that location
