QP hosts the 35th Meeting of the GCC National Oil Companies Production & Maintenance Team Qatar Petroleum (QP) is hosting the 35th Meeting of the GCC National Oil Companies Production & Maintenance Team, which starts today at the InterContinental Doha Hotel. The three-day event, which will conclude on Wednesday, October 29, is being attended by senior representatives fromthe GCC’s national oil companies, namely: QP, Saudi Aramco, Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO), and Petroleum Development Oman (PDO). Mr. Said Mubarak Al-Mohannadi, QP’s Director of Operations, delivered the keynote speech during the opening of the meeting. The GCC Production and Maintenance Committee was established in 1997 to meet twice a year to discuss and benchmark various best practices in the field of production and maintenance. The theme of this years meeting is “Equipment Obsolescence Management.” During the meeting, speakers will be presentingvarious systems and practices to address obsolescence issues and reduce obsolescence in the equipment life cycle. Today’s sessions featured technical presentations from QP, KOC, Saudi Aramco and ADNOC. The event will continue on Tuesday with presentations from BAPCO, PDO and QP as well as from Qatargas, and Texas A&M University at Qatar. The meeting will also feature a panel discussion and workshop, which will give the attendees the opportunity to interact with each other and to share their knowledge and experiences. قطر للبترول تستضيف الاجتماع الخامس والثلاثينلفريق الإنتاج والصيانةلشركات النفط الوطنية في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي تستضيف قطر للبترول الاجتماع الخامس والثلاثينلفريق الإنتاج والصيانةلشركات النفط الوطنية في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، والذي بدأ اليوم في فندق انتركونتيننتالالدوحة. وقد حضر هذا الاجتماع الذي يستمر لثلاثة أيام ويختتم أعماله يوم الأربعاء الموافق 29 أكتوبر، عدد من كبار المسؤولين من قطر للبترول بالإضافة إلى عدد من كبار المسؤولين في شركات النفط الوطنية في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، وهي: أرامكو السعودية، وشركة نفط الكويت، وشركة بترول أبو ظبي الوطنية، وشركة نفط البحرين، وشركة تنمية نفط عمان. وقام خلال الاجتماع السيد سعيد مبارك المهندي، مدير شؤون العمليات في قطر للبترول، بألقاء الكلمة الرئيسية. جدير بالذكر أن فريق الإنتاج والصيانةلشركات النفط الوطنية في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجيكان قد تم إنشاؤه في عام 1997، ويجتمع مرتين سنوياً لمناقشة ووضع معايير أفضل الممارسات المختلفة في مجال الإنتاج والصيانة. وشعار هذا الاجتماع هو: إدارة استمرار استخدام المعدات القديمة (Equipment Obsolescence Management). وخلال الاجتماع، سوف يعرض المتحدثون أنظمة وممارسات مختلفة لتحديد مشاكل المعدات القديمة للاستمرار في استخدامها وخفض نسب التخلص منها لإطالة دورة حياة المعدات. وتضمنت جلسات اليوم عروضاً تقنية من قطر للبترول، وشركة نفط الكويت، وأرامكو السعودية، وشركة بترول أبو ظبي الوطنية. وسوف تستمر جلسات الاجتماع يوم الثلاثاء بتقديم عروض من شركة نفط البحرين، وشركة تنمية نفط عمان، وقطر للبترول، وكذلك قطرغاز وجامعة تكساس أي أند إم في قطر. وسيتضمن الاجتماعحلقة نقاش وورشة عمل، والتي ستتيح للمشاركين الحصول على فرصة التفاعل وتبادل المعرفة والخبرات.
