QPR boss Harry Redknapp has confirmed he is looking to take winger Oussama Assaidi on loan from Liverpool. Morocco international Assaidi, 24, has failed to impress since arriving at Anfield from Dutch side Heerenveen last summer and is expected to move to Rangers for the rest of the season. The two clubs have been discussing a deal this week and seem close to reaching an agreement. Redknapp said: “I’m not sure what’s happening there, but he is a player we’re interested in. We’re trying to get him here on loan.” Meanwhile, Armand Traore will not feature in Saturday’s match against Huddersfield.
