QUAID-E-INQALAB GEELANI CALLS FOR SHUTDOWN AGAINST GENOCIDE OF MUSLIMS BY OCCUPANT INDIAN FORCES IN MAQBOOZA KASHMIR ON JAN 21, 25, AND 27: POSTED BY HABIB YOUSAFZAI ASSALAM-O-ALAIKUM! Srinagar: Chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Geelani Monday called for complete shutdown in Gowkadal areas, Handwara and Kupwara towns on 21, 25 and 27 January 2015 respectively and organizing special prayers on these days on the completion of 25 years of ’21 January 1990 genocide of Gowkadal’, ’25 January genocide of Handwara’ and 21 years of ’27 January 1994 genocide of Kupwara’. Geelani appealed the international human rights organizations to play their role in conducting the impartial investigation into all killings of Jammu and Kashmir and in punishing the accused personals of government forces who were involved in the war crimes in this region and perform their duty in stopping the further loss of precious human lives. ‘More than one hundred thousand Muslim Kashmiris were killed by the Indian army and the great nations never forget their brave and bold sons who offer their pious lives for the better future of the nation,’ he said. ‘India and its agencies are working hard on the project that Kashmiries will forget their Martyrs and didn’t mention anywhere the sacrifices of the nation which they have given in their long freedom struggle till date,’ he added. Geelani said that the policy makers of India want that the new generation of Kashmir should remain unaware about the historic perspective of the Kashmir dispute and the freedom struggle of their nation and they should compromise over the slavery of India so that they can lengthen their ‘illegal occupation’ here. He said that keeping in view this situation, our first responsibility is that we should again and again remember these incidents and the brave sons of the soil. Geelani also paid glorious tributes to the two youths of Sopore gunfight and said that these sacrifices will definitely lead us to the logical goal.
