In an innovative project to create greater awareness in our community, the students stood at various drop off points and counted how many people in cars were wearing seatbelts. Over the next week and a half they will work with AAA to give out information at lunch and have lunch activities promoting seat belt use. In addition to this, announcements will be made to remind students to wear their seat belts. Sunnyside High School is competing with Flowing Wells High School to see which school will have the greatest increase to win $500, second prize is $250.
