QUEENSCOURT FUNDRAISING SCRATCHCARD AND LOTTERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED... Join the Team, meet new people. No regular commitment required. Queenscourt Hospice depends on the work of its fundraising team to bring in much needed income. Fundraising volunteers are used on an ad-hoc basis, called on to help whenever there is a charity event or a local venue or activity where we need to have a presence. Hundreds of local people support Queenscourt by subscribing to the Queenscourt Lottery where the odds of success are vastly greater than the national lottery! Thousands of others buy Queenscourt Scratchcards. Occasionally there are Queenscourt ‘Bumper Draws’ for a car or other huge prize. Volunteers are always needed to man our attractive display kiosk – wherever it might pop-up! There is no hard selling involved - just greeting interested passers-by, promoting the sale of Scratchcards and offering Lottery leaflets. Typically, your hours might be 10am – 1pm or 1pm to 4pm. Volunteers work in pairs and we don’t ever plan for them to man the Lottery Kiosk alone. Prospective volunteers need to be age 16 or over, like meeting people, be reliable, honest and numerate with experience of handling money if possible. Enquiries to the volunteer co-ordinator Tel: 01704 544645 or Email: [email protected].
