QUEENSLAND QUARTERSCALE TITLES WA was represented at the Qld State Titles held at Elimbah Raceway last weekend. Mikey Rimmer and Greg Cowie made the long trip to try- out against the best the banana-benders had to offer. After some rules and regs issues which meant some immediate & frustrating modifications to their race cars both were able to hit the dirt for the two day event. Congrats to Mikey who added another trophy to his cabinet grabbing second place in the 30 lap Sprintcar A Main. He had a DNF in the Speedcar final and in the Dirt Mod B Main. Showtime Cowie had some gremlins in the handling department of his brand new winged thing so although he qualified for the final he decided not to start. His luck changed however in the Speedcar A Main where he qualified 10th and finished 6th. Well done Greg! The boys enjoyed their weekend and plan to attend this event again next season.
