QUESTION:- Hey mate, how you going, I was wondering if you could post a question anonymously on your timeline as I need some advice. Approx 4 weeks ago i amputated part of my finger in a workplace accident, through speaking to work cover WA I was advised that I am entitled to a lump some compensation payout, although I am unsure as to whether or not I should make a claim. So far my employer has been looking after me with wages and light duties. Im worried that if I do go for the compensation payout it will cause dramas with my employer. Its important to note that this injury has affected my quality of life eg I cant shower on my own or use a knife and fork properly. So Im just after peoples opinions or if theyve been through this before and did it cause any problems with future work. Thanks guys
