QUESTION FOR THOSE WHO SELL CROCHETED ITEMS: I know there are many of you out there who have made the decision not to sell items that infringe upon the copyrights and trademarks of others (Minions, Disney characters, etc.). I also know that it can be hard to compete against those who are selling unlicensed products featuring popular characters. Would you be interested in joining an open Facebook group where you could promote and advertise any or all of the items you have for sale? Anyone could join the group, but only pre-approved business owners would be able to post about their products. Anyone selling unlicensed merchandise would not be allowed to post in the group. CAVEATS: 1. There would be no charge to be part of the group through the rest of 2014. 2. If the group has grown enough in membership, beginning in 2015 there would be a small yearly fee to participate. There would also be a yearly review of each approved business to make sure they are not selling unlicensed merchandise. 3. Any business found to be selling unlicensed merchandise at any time would be permanently removed from the group.
