| QUESTION FROM FOLLOWER | Q: Is A2 milk better for me than A1 milk. Should I switch to A2 milk? A: What would you be consuming it for? Its not any higher in protein which would be the most obvious misconception. It just contains A2 milk protein (B-Caseins) instead of A1 and depends on the type of cow it comes from, eg A2 comes from Jersey cows and A1 Holsteins and Friesians. Its generally easier to digest and most people can tolerate it better. If you have eczema, rash etc. that you think might me caused by milk then A2 might be better. But check your normal milk doesnt come from Jersey cows because if it does itll be A2 milk. A2 milk is just a registered name. I think its better to chose a good quality organic milk that is hormone and antibiotic free. Also if youre sensitive to milk in general dont swap it, exclude it, its your body telling you that it cannot digest it properly. Use almond milk instead.
