QUESTION!! Hey filmmaker friends/ probably most specifically sound friends: I have a canon 7D and an audio technica AT4073a shotgun mic. I want to record audio directly into the camera for some on the fly stuff BUT Im not sure how to go from XLR into the mic in spot which looks like a standard 1/8 input (or is it 1/4?) Do any of you have experience with this? When I look online I see workflow that consists of going into another device and then out of that. Im really looking to limit my financial output on this and it would be preferable to just get a nice coverting cable for this... thoughts??
