QUESTION: IF THE CHRISTIAN GOD IS PERFECT...WHY DID HE NEED TO CREATE THE UNIVERSE? Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he. Why would a God whose attributes include perfection, omniscience, and omnipotence create a universe, after having existed for...EVER?? Was he lonely? Was he bored? Was he just wanting someone to love and worship him? I dont think that most Christians have ever thought of this point. If God is all-knowing, then HE KNEW...billions of years prior to implementing his Creation...that his Creation would IMMEDIATELY fall apart due to Adams sin, plunging his beautiful Creation into decay, violence, and chaos...and that billions of the creatures that he would create in his own image would endure unspeakable suffering and the majority of them would spend eternity in Hell. Is that a ridiculous story! YES! A perfect god creates a perfect universe and then creates an imperfect man in his perfect image, and then calls the imperfect man “perfect” and then the imperfect man falls, and the perfect god judges him and sends him to an eternal hell for not being perfect? No perfect, all-knowing, omnipotent, loving Creator would make such a massive mistake with such horrific, eternal, consequences! The Christian god is either completely incompetent...or he is a sadistic thug of the very worst kind. 1/10 of 1% go to Heaven to live in bliss…the other 99.9% go to Hell and suffer, burn and are tormented for all Eternity…how is that loving and just? What was the whole point anyway? God CANNOT BE PERFECT if he makes something that HE says he made perfect, but turns out that it isnt.
