QUESTION: If a rescue pulls a dog that subsequently goes to General, and is a victim of serious incompetence or neglect (i.e., infection not addressed, botched spay jobs, staples ripping the skin, etc.), should the rescue be expected to report it to the CA Veterinarians Medical board in order to be entitled to pledges? My thought process is a reputable rescue would speak up for that dog. It is the rescues responsibility no less than properly vetting him is.
