QUESTION OF THE DAY - Oct 28, 2014 What ... if anything ... do you keep in the trunk of your car? We have a big square/stiff bag in the trunk of our car and in that bag I always keep a roll of paper towels, pen and pad, pair of scissors - de-icer - wet wipes - road map - an old towel - a little zip lock bag of mints/cough drops ... which I change out and throw away about 3 times a year) a bottle of water which I only use for emergencies where I may need water ... I sometimes get sticky or dirty as Im finding treasures along the road side :8)...but dont use it for drinking - and I have a couple more things in there ... but honestly, I dont get in that bag very often and I cant remember what else is IN there. Right now I also have the vintage trunk Kim bought at the yard sale last week ... because Billy put a new bottom in it for her and I havent dropped it back off to her yet ... and 4 deer decoys and some kind of big tool that Billy put in there to also give to Kim for her next yard sale. I like to keep my trunk virtually empty. I love a clean car ... inside and out and living in the country it isnt always easy to keep the outside clean. But I usually hose it off once or twice a week and I try to keep the inside free from liter except for the leaves, grass, and a little dirt in the floor that I get there when I stop along the road to pick/cut flowers and weeds. Billy recently pointed out a crime show to me on television where the lady disappeared when she was out of her car and cutting flowers along a country road ... and he said See ...THATS EXACTLY whats going to happen to YOU one of these days ... now I want you to STOP DOING that? WOMEN ARE LITERALLY SHOPPING TILL THEY DROP and emptying their check books and racking up their charge cards in malls all over the world ... and HE is fussing because I like to gather FREE WEEDS/FLOWERS along country roads... lol Youll on occasion find a few unique sticks/logs, etc in my trunk ... if I see something I just have to stop and get ... lol But I always take them out when I get home and put them somewhere in my garden/secret garden or whatever... SO what do you normally carry in YOUR trunk?
