More a comedian than a serious operator, Gallardo used to appear on Spanish TV programme Punto Pelota but, alas, that was pulled after the joke of their transfer stories was taken as far as it could possibly go. Journalists would appear on the show and compete to come up with the wildest rumour, as the camera zoomed in on their face and the music heightened in time with the b*******. Gallardo has now been released again into the wider media world and is doing the same thing... guessing at things and hoping beyond hope that some of them become true one day. The British media treat him one of two ways... Cover his stuff with a hefty reliability warning or treat it as fact and him as an agent because hits are the most important thing and to hell with accuracy. The latter approach is favoured by Ben Jefferson at The Daily Express who ran a story on Friday titled Dani Alves has ALREADY agreed to join Man Utd on a free transfer next season That story went on to say FIFA agent Francois Gallardo claims that a deal has already been agreed that will see Alves move to Old Trafford. Speaking to Spanish television show Neox, Gallardo said: The player will leave Barcelona next season. He has signed a preliminary agreement with Manchester United. The news is sure to come as a blow to both Chelsea and Liverpool who both had hopes of signing the Brazilian on a free transfer. There is no such thing as a FIFA agent and Gallardo isnt even a registered agent, hes just a shock- journalist. Jefferson has pretending he cant see or hear any evil with Gallardo for years. Two years ago he seriously covered Gallardos claims he was working as an agent taking John Terry to Valencia, something laughed off by the player and clubs involved. In September of this year Jefferson covered Gallardo claims saying Robin van Persie was going to Real Madrid for £20m.
