FCC/RMO 1I/01/2012 @ Fair Competition Commission (FCC) Date Listed: Nov 12, 2013 Area: Dar Es Salaam Application Deadline: Nov 29, 2013 From the daily News of 11th November 2013 Position Description: Reports to: Human Resource and Administration Officer Job Description: Main Duties and Responsibilities Receiving and recording all Commissions incoming and outgoing documents. Preparing of index and other facilities in order to simplify the availability of the documents. Retrieving and circulating documents and files as may be required by Commission staff. Classifying, registering and arranging records/documents in various groups according to subject concern. Opening and closing files as and when the need arises in accordance with the classified filing system. Keeping and arranging documents in respective files. Keeping, maintaining and making use of the file movement register so as to track files or other records through the adopted tracking system. Maintaining records and preparing periodical records reports. Working closely with registry assistant to ensure uniformity of records filling system in the Registry. Dispatching correspondences/letters. Keeping and maintaining archives according to standard procedures. Disposing unwanted documents as per standard procedures. Facilitating computerization of FCC registry. Advising the Commission on maintenance of records. Performing any other duties as may be assigned by superiors from time to time. qualifications and Experience: Holder of a Bachelors Degree or Advanced Diploma in records management from any recognized Institution; 3 years work experience in relevant field Possession of computer skills is an added advantage PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES In addition to the above skills and qualifications, applicants for the above post are required to have the following attributes; A high level of integrity, honesty and sense of responsibility; .
