QUINBY IGA, DA RED & BLACK STATUS There will be NO practice today, the two games a week is still getting in baseball work, PLUS, I saw some ENERGY out there on the field this week, especially yesterdays game. And a message for young men EVERYWHERE, of my 13 players, I have 3 young LADIES, who are playing baseball for the first time and I am here to tell you, these girls are STRAIGHT BALLIN!! We have just completed 6 out of 15 games and I have witnessed them snag some of the hardest hit balls and delivered some of the hardest hits in 3 weeks of play. Our team, as a whole, I COULDNT BE MORE PROUD OF!!! And not because they are undefeated at 6-0 so far...their greatest attribute is that they are all different, BUT, have learned to play as a TEAM!! Its not even the fact that DA RED & BLACK have tallied 53 runs and given up 4 runs...those are just numbers, but I think they are worthy to be mentioned to show the team their efforts on the field. I am proud of Zinyah, Jason, LaRon, Jaydan, Lucas, Me Me, Conner, Brennan, Rodney, Mazir, Jonah, Rahmya, and RJ because THEY make up DA RED & BLACK and they have allowed us as coaches and parents to go on this journey with them. THANK YOU TO THE 13!!! REMINDER: THE KRISPY KREME FUNDRAISING CERTIFICATES PRE-SELLING FORMS ARE DUE WEDNESDAY, 4/30/2014. THIS IS TO RAISE MONEY FOR BALLFIELD UPDATES & EQUIPMENT. The team that raises the most money gets a team party as a reward. So, lets go, DA RED & BLACK, get those donuts sold!!! Anyway, last but not least, we are back on the field, MONDAY, 4/28/2014 @6:30 vs ALL-STAR SPORTS...SPREAD THE WORD!!!
