QUINLAN COUNCIL TO MEET IN MONDAY AT 7 P.M. The Quinlan City Council is scheduled to meet for its regular monthly meeting Monday at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at 104 E. Main. Items on the agenda are — the consent agenda that includes the hiring of Cody Kennemer to fill a vacancy in the Public Works Department; appointments to the Quinlan Economic Development Corporation, Planning and Zoning Commission and Zoning Board of Adjustment; Appoint a member of the council to serve as mayor protem; amend municipal fee schedule ordinance; authorize purchase agreement with COPsync for police software; street sign replacements; city council training; Staff reports including City Secretary Laura Kennemer, update on CUSI utility software installation; Chief of Police, police reserve program; and City Administrator John Adel, 2013-14 fiscal year budget status, 2014-15 budget schedule and monthly statistics and activities for city departments; and A closed executive session is scheduled, however items for consideration are not listed before reconvening in open session for action on any items discussed during the closed meeting.
