QUITE UNBELIEVEABLE AND ACCEPTABLE. Barely 120 hours ago, the highly publicized and highly criticized national confab was kick-started at the nation capital, Abuja. But what really waranted my reaction is primarily the budgeted allowances meant for the respective individuals constituted the conference. The said Confab is planned to last for three months and each month, a single member will be #4 million rich. Thats, for the months that gathering will last, each member shall cart away #12 millions. Dont forget that there are 492 delegates at the conference. Now lets us reason together about the allowances meant for the delegates and the worst aspect of the matter is that the composition of the conference include ex-governors, captain of industries, retired military general and varities of bourgeoises, the set of people have enough why giving them allowances of magnitude? What are the fundamental objectives the said Confab? Is it for sharing the nationation cake? Could the national integration the purpose? Is it to deliberate the UNITY IN DIVERSITY ? From my own views, this journey is the one with bleak and vague destination.
