QUOTE My take of the Hong Lim 2nd protest #returnourcpf is summarised below:- (1) CPF is peoples own monies and should be returned to people for their retirement needs at 55 as originally promised. (2) Lies of pappies are exposed: (a) medishield is subsidised as based on the facts demanded by the people, finally it was found that the total medisheld collections over the past few years have far exceeded the payouts by S$2 billions. Moreover minister has indicated medishield insurance premiums would be increased substantially by as much as 200 + % after 5 years from the initial rates (b) CPF were finally admitted as invested by GIC and Temasek despite the earlier denials/amendments to GIC website to the contrary. (c ) of the total of 9-16% annualised return as published only 2.5-4% pa were given to cpf holders. (3) The pappies have not been transparent in the running of this country with citizens being told lies about many things including investments of their cpf. There should be proper apologies made to the people for these lies which have inconvenienced them as many families are unable to retire or been forced to sell away their houses because of such lies. (4) Many people have been brainwashed by lies and propaganda into accepting such lies as truths. The true blue Singaporeans have the duty to explain these mistakes and lies to fellow citizens to come and attend to ongoing Hong Lim protests (next protest scheduled for 23.8.2014) until pappies listen and agree to return peoples cpf. People need to stand united and act and demand return of peoples power to safeguard this country from further suppression and wrongful acts. (5) People have the right to elect the kind of representatives who would truly look after their interests and not like now where nearly the whole lot of MPs fail to turn up on time as announced by speaker nearly resulting in bills being passed without quorum. Some MPs have been sick and failing to attend parliament or looking after their constituents and yet are still refusing to make way for new mps to be elected to serve the people.
